Junior Digital Designer
Vivid are on the hunt for an enthusiastic and creative junior digital designer to join our extremely talented team. Someone creative, passionate, eager to keep on top of new technologies and share knowledge with the rest of our team. You should be fast and proficient but meticulous in checking your work and producing on brief, on time, with accuracy. This role calls for a great visual designer that understands that digital should be both intuitive and beautiful. You should be familiar with interactive design and have a keen interest in the latest digital trends. The role will involve working in a fast paced environment, both individually and as part of a team.
Working with the creative and planning team the designer/developer will:
Work up flat designs across multiple media
Work up flat designs for digital work
Create and edit motion graphics
Come up with innovative solutions to problems.
The designer should:
Have a keen eye for detail
Be adaptable and able to pick up new techniques
Have good interpersonal and communication skills
Be proficient in Adobe creative suite CS5/6 – with advance skills in After Effects, flash, final cut pro
Key note/pressi presentation skills would be a bonus.
It would be beneficial if the candidate had experience in:
Working with responsive websites in HTML5 & CSS3
Basic PHP & MySQL
iOS and Android mobile platforms.
We expect applicants to have a degree-level education, with relevant work experience and vocational skills providing a good grounding in interactive design, graphic design and web/mobile technologies.
38.5 hours a week, 9am to 6pm, Monday to Friday. Additional hours may be required to meet deadlines, which could include evenings and weekends.
