CAB Studios - Junior Designer Placement

CAB Studios are looking for bright and driven students who want to begin a career in the Creative, Marketing & Digital Development industry and become a part of this exciting Agency in the heart of Warwickshire. Role: Junior Designer
As a junior designer you will work within the Craft team with support from senior designers and the marketing team. You will creatively contribute to the design and development of new and existing advertising and marketing campaigns for a range of clients, as well as developing concepts and artworking to technical specifications for various projects.

Daily Job Responsibilities will include:
• Hands on experience designing and updating interfaces.
• Assisting with the design and production of regular marketing and communication materials.
• Working to a brief and within the parameters of brand guidelines.
• Artworking creative work for print.
• Maintain brand consistency throughout your work.
• Conceptualise new marketing material.

Required skills and expertise
• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud Illustrator, PhotoShop and InDesign.
• Able to design eye-catching graphic designs for sales and marketing.
• Layout skills with an exceptional eye for detail.
• Impressive portfolio of visual design work.
• Able to work on numerous projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment with frequently changing priorities.
• Confident using an Apple Mac.
• Ability to communicate and rationalise design.
• Understanding of cross-platform/device UX, mobile, mobile app, responsive design.
• Good administrative IT skills (including Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
• Enthusiasm and knowledge for latest trends.
• Excellent team player, with a strong and positive attitude.
• A thirst for learning and expanding your knowledge

Desirable attributes:
• Print/production knowledge
• Ambitious
• Enthusiasm to help out the creative team wherever you can
• Good understanding of typography.
